X-Men director Bryan Singer claims he has proof showing that he was nowhere near Hawaii during the period he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor.
As ENTmania! reported, a 31-year old man named Michael Egan accused Singer of drugging and raping him during two separate trips to Hawaii in August and October, 1999 – an allegation Singer has vehemently denied.
Now, TMZ reports that Singer is prepared to show evidence – credit card bills, receipts and other documents – proving that he was not in Hawaii during that period, but in Toronto, Canada shooting the first X-Men movie.
X-Men was shot between September 22, 1999-March 3, 2000 in Canada – but Singer was present in the pre-production that happened in the area.
