L.A Clippers owner Donald Sterling was caught on tape ordering his girlfriend not to bring black people to his games among other racist remarks … all because she took a picture with Magic Johnson and posted it on Instagram.
In fact, Sterling gave his much-younger girlfriend V. Stiviano the permission to ‘sleep with’ black people, provided she doesn’t bring them to his games or post their photos on Instagram.
This is a transcript from Sterling’s racist declarations as reported by TMZ:
“It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?” (3:30)
— “You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that … and not to bring them to my games.” (5:15)
— “I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people.” (7:45)
— “…Don’t put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don’t bring him to my games.” (9:13)
Sterling’s stunning remarks – which is not completely surprising given the fact that there is a well-documented history of his alleged racist behavior – have sparked outrage in the African-American community, with many people calling for him to step down immediately as Clippers owner and others calling for the boycott of Clippers games.
