Chris Brown has been sentenced to 4-plus months for violating his probation in the Rihanna beating case.
Brown was in court Friday afternoon, where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight in Washington DC.
The judge sentenced him to 1 year in prison … but gave him credit for the 116 days he spent in rehab, as well as the 59 days he has already spent behind bars.
Brown would have been sentenced to 4 years in jail … but the judge showed some leniency because the singer was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which is also one of the reasons for his violent behavior.
In addition to the jail sentence, Brown was ordered to attend therapy sessions 2 times a week. Also, he must submit to random drug testing 3 times a week.
It’s not yet over for the troubled singer, ‘cos the Washington assault trial is still on.
