Alec Baldwin was arrested on Tuesday for riding his bike in the wrong lane in New York … and he angrily slammed the police shortly after he got released from custody.
The actor was stopped on Fifth Avenue around 10:15 am … and since he did not have his ID on him, police took him to the station as part of the standard identification process.
Baldwin was reported to have become belligerent towards the officers, who consequently cuffed him and booked him for disorderly conduct, plus the ticket he got for illegal biking.
After he got released, Baldwin took to Twitter to vent his anger.
‘Officer Moreno, badge number 23388, arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave,’ he tweeted. ‘Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing.’
‘New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.’
Alec strikes again.
