Elliot Rodger – the 22-year old guy who allegedly shot 6 people dead near University of California Santa Barbara on Friday night – vowed to kill everyone because girls sexually rejected him.
In a video titled ‘Elliot Rodger’s retribution’ posted on his YouTube account hours before unleashing mayhem, the troubled fellow can be seen complaining about how lonely he is and how girls have been refusing to have sex with him.
‘If I can’t have you, I will destroy you,’ he said after bitterly complaining that he was still a virgin at age 22.
‘It all has to come to this,’ he declared. ‘I will have my revenge against my humanity. I’ll take great pleasure in slaughtering all of you.’
The video is below.
After the drive-by shooting that left 6 dead and 7 injured, police uncovered more YouTube videos (which you can watch below) of Elliot – the son of Hunger Games assistant director Peter Rodger – where he complained bitterly of how girls in his college have been sexually rejecting him:
I don’t know why you girls are so repulsed by me. I do everything I can to appear attractive to you. I dress nice, I am sophisticated, I am magnificent. I have a nice car, a BMW. . . I am polite. I am the ultimate gentleman. And yet, you girls never give me a chance. I don’t know why.
His loneliness was purely driven by lust:
I feel so invisible as I walk through my college. Your revealing shorts, your cascading blonde hair, your pretty faces. I want one for a girlfriend.
And he believes no man is as handsome and well endowed as he is:
I deserve girls much more than all those slobs. . . . I should be the one with the girls. I mean, look at me? I’m gorgeous. But you girls don’t see it.
Elliot’s family told BBC that their son was receiving treatment for mental issues:
The lawyer for the alleged gunman’s father, Peter Rodger, said his son was diagnosed with “highly functional Asperger’s syndrome” as a child.
His mother contacted the police and a social worker after a YouTube video was posted recently, the lawyer added.
