Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone turned paparazzi shots of their faces into an opportunity to advertise charities on Tuesday.
The Amazing Spider Man stars were dining in a restaurant when they noticed the photogs snapping them, so they went outside and covered their faces with hand written signs promoting charity organizations (above).
‘Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, lets try this again. We dont need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do,’ reads Stone’s card, which also has an arrow pointing towards Garfield’s card on which is written the websites of charity organizations.’
‘Here’s to the stuff that matters,’ reads Garfield’s card. ‘Have a great day!’
The couple pulled a similar stunt back in 2012, where they promoted Gilda’s Club and Worldwide Orphans. This year, they are promoting Youth Mentoring Connection and Autism Speaks.
It’s all for the cause, not the attention for Garfield and Stone.
