Team USA soccer goalkeeper Hope Solo has been arrested for domestic violence after allegedly beating up her sister and nephew.
The Olympic gold medalist, real name Hope Amelia Stevens, was picked up by police at her home in Seattle early Saturday morning after officers were called to her home where a huge party was raging.
According to the police report, the scene there was an ‘out of control situation,’ and the beating Solo administered to her sister and nephew resulted in ‘visible injuries.’
According to cops, Solo had gotten into an argument with the two, and when they arrived at her home, they found her looking ‘intoxicated and upset.’
She was taken to South Correctional Entity Regional Jail in Des Moines, Washington, where she was booked on two counts for domestic violence. She is currently being held without bail.
