A truck driver recently pulled over a policeman and accused him of speeding and using his phone behind the wheel … and the awkward stand-off that followed is almost painful to watch.
In the video, the driver accuses the policeman of speeding and using his phone while driving, while the policeman in turn claimed that cops have the right to use phones and other ‘technology’ behind the wheel.
The cop even threatened to ticket the driver for using his horn unlawfully to get his attention … and at a point he looked like he will follow through on his threat as he took various documents from the driver and took off.
Seconds later however, he returned with the documents crest fallen … and his tone changed (probably because the driver earlier warned him that he was being recorded).
‘I understand you’re using a horn, you know … you’re just trying to help me drive safely, I understand that,’ the policeman said, to which the driver replied, ‘We’re all out here sharing the same roads, you should be as accountable to the same standard as I am.’
‘Absolutely,’ the cop admitted before leaving.
After he left, the driver turned the video to himself and concluded, ‘And that’s what happens when they know you’re recording.’
