Novak Djokovic is the new Wimbledon champion.
The Serbian tennis star beat his Swiss opponent, seven-time champion Roger Federer, to win the title on Sunday.
After the fifth and final set, Djokovic got down on his knees, plucked out a strand of grass and ate it. ‘It tastes like the best meal I ever had in my life,’ he said.
He later thanked Federer for ‘letting’ him win.
This win makes Djokovic a two-time Wimbledon winner – he won the title in 2011 – and a seven-time Grand Slam title holder. He also moved to the top of world tennis rankings.
Last year, Djokovic lost the Wimbledon title to Britain’s Andy Murray.
