Red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk has apologized to all the Hollywood stars he had pranked on the red carpet over the years, and has announced he will be leaving the United States to pursue a modelling career in London.
‘Basically, I’m changing my life,’ the 25-year old former journalist told The Hollywood Reporter. ‘I would like to thank Hollywood for having me this two years and a half. It was an experience that taught me a lot in life. Most importantly, I would like to say sorry for celebrities that had to deal with my stunts and thank them for being tolerant to me all this time.’
He also maintained that all his pranks on celebrities were done with a ‘positive’ mindset … but admitted that some of the pranks ‘went wrong’.
The motivation behind all my pranks was always positive even when some of them went wrong and were not understood by the public,’ he said. ‘I came to the decision to move overseas, but there’s some part of me that will stay in this city. I know you will not miss me.’
Sediuk’s last prank was on Brad Pitt in the Maleficient premiere in May, and it earned him two nights in jail, 20 days of community service and a ban from all Hollywood events. His other prank victims include Adele, Bradley Cooper, Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio and America Ferrera.
