Freddie Prinze verbally slammed 24 star Keifer Sutherland hard during the Comic-Con fest on Saturday, describing the actor as ‘the most unprofessional dude in the world’.
Prinze made the comments on ABC News Radio, saying that he hated every moment of his time working with Sutherland in 2010 … and it was so bad that he longed to quit acting altogether.
‘I did “24,” It was terrible. I hated every moment of it,’ he said. ‘I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.’
‘Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world,’ he continued. ‘That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.’
Prinze then dissed Sutherland for being a short man, saying, ‘I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ’s sake, and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer. But at least he was cool. And tall. I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which [“24”] made me do.’
‘Just put the guy on an apple box, or don’t hire me next time! You know I’m 6 feet and he’s 5’4″,’ he finished.
Now no one knows why Prinze waited so long to unload on Sutherland like this, but it is worthy to note that the same Prinze had nothing but positive things to say about his colleague while they were filming 24 in 2009.
