Kendall Jenner has demanded that the waitress who accused her of skipping her bill and then throwing money in her face when she was confronted to apologize for her lies, or face a defamation lawsuit.
As ENTmania! reported, Kendall was said to be pissed at the restaurant because they wouldn’t serve her alcohol and angrily left, forgetting to pay her $60 bill. Her server, Skins actress Blaine Morris, then ran after her and demanded she pay – and was when she whipped out a couple of $20 notes and threw it in her face.
But the 18-year old Kardashian has denied doing such a thing.
‘These rumors r absolutely ridiculous! I would never throw money in anyone’s face or act that disrespectfully. I was raised better than that,’ she tweeted on Wednesday, adding, ‘Said it once and I’ll say it again, don’t believe everything you read!’
But Kendall wasn’t done.
She then got her lawyer Mary Singer to send a cease-and-desist letter to Morris, demanding she apologize and retract her ‘completely false, fabricated and defamatory’ allegations or she’ll sue her for defamation.
‘As you know, when you waited on my client at Mercer Kitchen last week, there was no issue with service whatsoever,’ Singer wrote in the letter. He also agreed that Kendall and her pal Hailey Baldwin forgot to pay their bill and Morris ran after her for it, but ‘[Kendall and Hailey] inadvertently forgot to take care of the bill before walking out’ and ‘there was absolutely no scene as described in the statements and the tweet.’
Besides, Singer claims the bill was actually $33 instead of $60, and Kendall ‘politely’ paid Morris $40 and did not throw it in her face.
And then Singer ended the letter with a final jab at Morris’ career as an actress, writing, ‘Although you are working as a waitress…I understand that you are also a struggling actress whose credits include a handful of television appearances. You no doubt concocted a fictionalized account of your encounter with my client in order to create publicity for yourself and raise your own public profile.’
