Michael Egan has dropped the sexual molestation lawsuit he filed against X Men director Bryan Singer.
On Wednesday, a judge allowed Egan to drop the lawsuit, citing his inability to secure representation as the reason. The suit was dismissed without prejudice, meaning he can refile in the future if need be.
As ENTmania! previously reported, Egan and Singer reached a $100,000 settlement in the case, but Egan withdrew from the deal … forcing his frustrated lawyer Jeff Herman to announce that he is dropping out of the case.
Apparently, Egan could not find another lawyer to represent him after Herman quit … and that is why he dropped the suit on lack of representation grounds.
