Oscar Pistorius was on Friday morning found guilty of culpable homicide over the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
In addition, Judge Thokozile Masipa also found the Paralympian guilty of one of the three weapons charges he was facing. That guilty charge was not connected to the Steenkamp incident.
As it is now, Pistorius faces a combined maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, 15 for the homicide charge and 5 for the weapons charge.
His sentence takes place in the upcoming weeks.
