Clay Aiken – former American Idol contestant-turned politician – says celebs like Jennifer Lawrence whose nude pics were recently hacked and spread all over the internet got what they bargained for.
In an interview with Washington Post, Aiken said, ‘Anybody who takes inappropriate pictures of themselves deserves exactly what they get.’
He also condemned the actions of the hackers, saying, ‘Of course, whoever [stole and released the photos] should be hogtied. And it’s unfortunate that we don’t have Internet security right now or the laws in place to protect people from pirating that stuff.’
Aiken, who is now running for Congress in North Carolina, advised that there are other ways of checking out one’s naked body without having to snap shots on phone cameras.
‘I’ve got a mirror if I want to check something out,’ he said.
