Ariana Grande’s personal choreographer was reportedly ‘unceremoniously fired’ from his job because he apparently complained about the petite star’s alleged diva behavior. But the choreographer says he was NOT fired, but that he ‘resigned.’
On Monday, Page Six reported that the choreographer – identified by Grande’s fans as Isaac Calpito – quit his job months ago because ‘he just couldn’t take it anymore.’
A source told the paper, ‘Everything people are saying about her is true. She’ll only be photographed from the left side, in a certain light. She’s rude to her fans. She was so obsessed with her hair that she had it dyed every three days, and the big ponytail is fake. She acts like a child and constantly needs people to coddle her.’
Page Six then quoted another source close to Grande’s camp who said that Calpito was actually fired and so the diva rumors about the singer is probably the handwork of ‘a spiteful former employee.’ There was also a rumor that he was Grande’s life coach who encouraged her ‘not to eat.’
But Calpito took to Twitter on Monday to tell his own side of the story.
‘There have been a lot of lies and false accusations about me. I have kept quiet and classy till now because that is the kabbalistic way,’ he began.
‘First of all, I was NOT fired. I resigned,’ he said in another tweet. ‘Two: I do NOT force people to not eat. I encourage people to be healthy & fit.’
‘And lastly, I wish Ariana the BEST and even if I had a story to sell….I wouldn’t,’ he continued. ‘Every minute of negative energy you’re spending on me, you could be spending simply LOVING Ariana.’
He concluded by saying that he appreciates the time he spent with Grande and will always be her ‘fan’.
