A grand jury has decided not to charge NASCAR superstar Tony Stewart for killing fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr. during a race last month.
The jury decided not to prosecute Stewart after a new ‘enhanced’ video footage of the accident presented by prosecutors failed to convince them that Stewart went against the rules to hit Ward.
As you will remember, Ward stepped out of his car after getting hit out of the racetrack, yelling at Stewart and walking on the road. Now officials say that Ward was high on marijuana at that time.
As it is now, Stewart has been cleared – and he has since resumed racing.
