A couple standing trial for murder have confessed that they tried having sex on the victims’ dead bodies, but couldn’t perform sexually for obvious reasons.
Joshua Miner, 25, and Alisa Massaro, 20, along with two others Bethany McKee and Adam Landerman were charged last year with the brutal murder of Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins in Joliet, Illinois. When they were questioned by police, Massaro initially admitted that she and Miner had sex on the dead bodies afterward.
But during the court hearing that took place on Thursday, a police interview with Miner was played, and it told a slightly different story.
From the Chicago Sun-Times:
Just hours after the killings of 22-year-olds Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins, it was Massaro who first suggested having sex, Miner claimed.
“She’s like, ‘Let’s have sex,'” Miner said in the video. “And I was like, ‘Let’s have sex on the bodies.'”
Later he said it was not on them, but next to them. Nevertheless, “performance issues” got in the way, he said.
“We both couldn’t get off, plus it was weird,” he said.
Yup. Super weird.
Massaro has been sentenced to 10-years in prison after reaching a deal to plead guilty to robbery and concealing homicidal death in order to avoid life sentence. Part of the deal was for her to testify against the other three and it led to the murder conviction of 20-year old Bethany McKee, who now faces a mandatory life sentence.
