Amanda Bynes is now threatening to sue In Touch magazine and other tabloids for ‘lying’ about her and calling her insane in a series of new tweets.
As you will remember, In Touch quoted Amanda as telling their reporter during an interview that she has a microchip in her brain and that she wants ‘a dollar a day from every person who [is] reading my mind.’ The mag also claimed that the actress was acting bizarre throughout the interview, and most of what she said never made sense.
But the troubled actress has lashed back, claiming that she never granted any interview to the magazine.
‘Well I am suing In Touch for lying about me entirely,’ she tweeted on Thursday. ‘I am not insane and they lied about me in every way.’
She continued, ‘They continue to write lies about me and it really hurts my feelings because they are calling me insane and I’m actually really smart.’
‘I finally hired the best lawyer in new york city to sue in Touch magazine because they are utterly insane and & lying to the public about me,’ she charged. ‘I’m also suing Star magazine for doing the exact same thing and the true definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.’
‘So I’m laughing all the way to the bank because I will sue them all,’ Amanda said. ‘I will sue any one in the media who lies about me and says I ever gave them an interview when I never gave literally any magazine a quote.’
Of course, Amanda said the same thing last year after the magazine posted pictures of her weed-filled apartment. Again, the magazine did not call her insane … it was its sister tabloid Life & Style that did that.
All the same, Bynes also declared that she loves People magazine.
‘I am getting married and my boyfriend and I are going to be on the cover People magazine,’ she tweeted, ‘because although they have made up things about me before, they will omit any error they’ve made.’
Crystal clear now.
