After a long week of bizarre, uncomfortable behavior in New York, Amanda Bynes is back in California … and under involuntary psychiatric hold.
Bynes had flown in from New York and entered a car provided by her parents, thinking that she was going to meet them at The London Hotel. But she did not know that her parents and attorney Tamar Arminak had already arranged for the car service to take her to a psychiatric rehab facility instead.
So the car service took her to Las Encinas hospital in Pasadena, where doctors immediately put her on 5150 psychiatric hold. This will last for 72 hours, and thereafter the hold could be extended to a maximum of two weeks.
ENTmania! learned that her parents intend to use the two-week period to reestablish a conservatorship.
Finally, Amanda gets taken off the streets to receive much-needed help.
ENTmania! wishes her a speedy recovery.
