A couple in Georgia was arrested and charged with cruelty to children in the first degree after admitting that they gave their 2-year old kid an alcoholic cocktail.
Jasmin Briana Moore and William Chester Hickson rushed their son to a nearby hospital after he stopped breathing. There doctors found out that the toddler’s blood alcohol level is .29 – more than 3 times the legal limit for adult drivers in Atlanta.
On questioning them, the parents confessed that they had given the boy a mixture of Coke and 40 proof Paul Masson Brandy. According to police, the boy continued drinking the mixture until he passed out.
Hickson was arrested on Monday, while Moore was taken in a day later. Both are now held on a $75,000 bond each.
