A furious camel on Monday bit, kicked and squashed a man to death in Mexico because it had not received its daily can of Coca-Cola.
Richard Mileski, a 60-year old American who owns the Tulum Monkey Jungle in Mexico, died after the camel in his property attacked him for reasons still unclear. According to Tulum Civil Defense official Alberto Canto, ‘The camel kicked and bit him practically to death, and when he was almost dead, he sat on him.’
‘Between the blows and the weight of the camel on top of him, he was asphyxiated.’
Canto also said that there are ‘a lot of versions’ that try to explain why the enclosed camel attacked Mileski, and ‘one version is that he would always give him a Coca-Cola to drink, and apparently, that day he didn’t give him the Coca-Cola.’
After squashing him to death, the camel even refused to free Mileski’s body and had to be pulled off of him with a rope tied to a truck. The animal is now being held by local authorities along with 13 spider monkeys, two emus, six deer, two llamas and a wild boar pending pending an investigation by Mexico’s Attorney General’s office for Environmental Protection.
