Kesha did say during a deposition three years ago that her manager Dr Luke never had sex with her … and now the deposition is about to be used against her in court.
As you will recall, Kesha sued Dr Luke last week, claiming that he repeatedly abused her sexually during their almost 10 years of working together. Luke sued her right back, saying that she and her mother are trying to extort him in order to break free from her legally binding contract.
Now a judge has unlocked a deposition made in 2011, when both Kesha and Luke were sued by her former manager. During that deposition, Kesha was asked whether Luke had ever given her a ‘roofie’ and whether they have had any ‘intimate relationship.’ Her answer to both questions was NO.
Luke’s camp asked the judge to unseal the deposition so that it could be used in the current case. The judge obliged despite protests from Kesha’s lawyer Mark Geragos, who later told TMZ that his using the document is ‘a pathetic attempt to once again blame the victim.’
Geragos also said that his client lied in the deposition because ‘Luke walked Kesha down the beach and threatened to destroy Kesha’s life and the lives of her family if she didn’t cover up his sexual assaults.’
