Teresa Giudice was on Wednesday made a real prisoner in the real Orange is the New Black prison.
The RHONJ star initially requested judge Esther Salas to let her serve 12 of her 15 months sentence in a halfway house but was denied. Instead, she got the news that she will spend her sentence in the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, beginning from January next year.
Oddly enough, the real Piper Kerman was also sentenced to 15 months in the Danbury prison for money laundering … and it was her memoir she wrote while behind bars that inspired the OITNB series.
OITNB fans now have Teresa Giudice to look up to. Expect her own Orange is the New Black memoir in 15 months.
