Amanda Bynes’ attempt to end her parents’ conservatorship over her has been shut down.
As ENTmania! earlier reported, the troubled actress – who just got released from the mental facility she was being held in – announced in a Twitter rant that she would be going to court to get her parents’ conservatorship cancelled so that she could control her own finances and decisions.
Amanda, however, did not show up in court (she instead went to a diner miles away) and a lawyer claiming to represent her showed up. But the judge quickly ended things by telling the lawyer that she cannot hire him because the conservatorship renders her incapable of signing a legally binding contract.
The whereabouts of Amanda is unknown – and ENTmania! will keep on saying this: That judge who let her walk out of that mental facility made a huge mistake … and should probably stop officiating hearings at mental hospitals for patients’ safety.
We sincerely hope and pray that this latest Amanda Bynes fiasco doesn’t end in tragedy.
