Dean McDermott has declared that he will no longer continue with True Tori – the reality show that broadcasts how he and wife Tori Spelling struggle to repair the damage his cheating and other marital issues have caused to their marriage.
In an interview with Access Hollywood on Wednesday, the actor said, ‘“I’m not going to continue with the show. We have five more shows left, I’m going to fulfill my commitment. But it got around the vasectomy conversation where I got to the point where… I can’t do this anymore. I can’t keep opening a vein, and opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world. I want my privacy back.’
Although he admitted that what goes on in the show was ‘what he signed up for’, he said he could not take it anymore. ‘I don’t watch it… I can’t.’
He also said that the painful revelations of their battered relationship made on the show has done more harm than good to their efforts to restore it. But on the matter of whether they will make it, he said, ‘I love this woman, regardless of what I’ve done. I love her and want to be with her.’
His wife Tori is currently in hospital recovering from a ‘nervous breakdown.’
