Vladimir Putin has earned himself an 8th degree black belt in karate, it has been reported.
According to Russian state media, the Russian President earned his black belt in Kyokushin – a type of full contact, non-protective headgear-wearing karate that excludes kicking the head in competitions. He will be presented with the award next month.
As it is now, the 62-year old has established himself in the martial arts world, having earned a 9th degree taekwondo last year. Plus, he is a well-known figure in judo.
