Five people were shot and wounded during Chris Brown’s performance at a nightclub located in San Jose, California on Sunday morning.
Brown was onstage singing at around 1:30 am when the shots rang out, sending partygoers into panic. According to a San Jose police spokesperson, the shots were fired both inside and outside the club.
When cops arrived at the scene, they found four people injured. They were immediately taken to the hospital where the fifth victim, who had earlier left the venue, later showed up. The extent of their injuries is not known yet, but all are expected to survive.
Several people have been arrested in connection with the shooting, but neither the suspects nor the motive behind the shooting has been defined. Brown himself was not hurt, and he is not being considered a suspect.
