Lindsay Lohan has failed again to complete her community service and now there is a high possibility that she will be jailed because of it … it has been reported.
As you will remember, Lohan was sentenced to 240 days community service in the 2012 reckless driving case against her. She is due in court next week Wednesday to prove that she has completed the service.
But according to TMZ, Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Holley told the judge in November 6 last year – the day she was originally supposed to complete the service – that her client had managed to complete nearly half of the hours. The judge then moved the finish date to Wednesday 28 January 2015 – but the actress has still not finished the service.
TMZ reports the actress’ lawyer is planning to use the fact that she was recently infected with the incurable Chikungunya virus while vacationing in Bora Bora during the holidays as an excuse for her not completing the service. Besides, she claims that the community service center in London – where she currently resides – was closed for 2 weeks during the holidays, meaning that she couldn’t have completed the service even if she had stayed back in London instead of going to Bora Bora.
Wednesday will tell if the judge will buy her excuses … but with her rich history of not completing court orders, it will be a miracle if she will be given a pass.
