Taylor Swift’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked on Tuesday … and at least one of the hackers has threatened to release her nude photos.
Swift’s accounts sent off two messages – and in them she supposedly asked her followers to follow @lizzard and @veriuser – both of whom claim to have ties with a hacking group called Lizard Squad. The aforementioned group claim to have been behind the hack of Sony Playstation and Xbox Live last year … and also claim responsibility for the temporary outage of Facebook and Instagram on Monday.
The first message that was posted on the singer’s account read, ‘Shoutout @veriuser follow him guys’ Fav when done for a follow… Love you all!!!’ This was shortly followed by another tweet that said, ‘go follow my boy @lizzard :)’ It is this ‘Lizzard’ that claimed he had Swift’s nudes, but will only release it if people donated to his Bitcoin wallet.
‘Will post taylor swift’s nudes when this btc wallet hits 3btc,’ the hacker posted along with a link to a Bitcoin account.
Twitter has since shut down the hackers’ accounts.
Reacting to the hack, Swift tweeted moments ago, ‘Cause the hackers gonna hack, hack, hack, hack, hack…PS any hackers saying they have “nudes”? Psssh you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.’
