Police in Moscow, Russia has busted a flourishing 7-bedroom brothel where all the prostitutes are married women.
According to police spokeswoman Margarita Maslova said they raided an apartment which ‘had been turned into an exclusive brothel where prostitutes were allowed to work only if they brought a marriage certificate confirming they were somebody else’s wife.’
‘We arrested 11 people although the woman that was running the business, who they were instructed to call “mamma”, managed to escape and is being hunted,’ she added.
According to the police, the ‘mamma’ charged her customers $163 an hour – which is six times higher than the normal prostitute rate in Moscow – because yes … they will be sleeping with other men’s wives. The brothel, unsurprisingly, is said to be popular, as it has many returning customers.
The married prostitutes – who were recruited by word-of-mouth advertising – were each fined around $13 and set free … but most of them will have to answer to their husbands because according to police, many of them never told their husbands what their outside job really was.
