Around 23 prisoners escaped from a Brazilian jail after using two women to successfully seduce the wardens on duty, it was reported on Saturday.
According to local reports, two women arrived at the Nova Mutum jail near Cuiaba, Brazil at around 3 o’clock Thursday morning, asking the wardens to let them in for a ‘chat and drink.’ The guards obliged, but soon after the girls talked the guards into going to the staff sleeping quarters for a ‘mass orgy.’
‘The plan was to seduce them,’ said police chief Angelina de Andrade Ferreira. ‘They served them cheap whisky with some substance to knock them out, then unlocked the central gate which accesses the internal cells. Whoever wanted to escape left by the front door.’
According to Ferreira, the women handcuffed the guards, took their keys and opened all the cells. She added, ‘From the moment they drank the whisky the agents don’t remember a thing. One was found dizzy, trying to wake up. Another slept for the whole afternoon and couldn’t even be questioned.’
The escaped prisoners walked away with s three 12 caliber rifles shotguns, two 38 caliber revolvers and ammunition, which they had taken from the guards. Police also found a bag of lingerie and police-themed dominatrix outfits, believed to be left by the women.
Police have identified one of the seductresses as the girlfriend of inmate Bruno Amorim, an 18-year old jailed for attempted murder, robbery and firearms possession. ‘Everything indicated that he planned and executed everything, with the help of his girlfriend,’ said Ferreira.
The guards, along with the prison director, have been arrested and charged with ‘facilitating a jailbreak’ and ‘culpable embezzlement’, the latter due to the stolen weapons. As of Saturday, 11 of the escaped inmates have been rearrested and taken back to prison.
