Bruce Jenner was not under any influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the three-vehicle crash that killed one and injured seven others, it has been reported.
According to TMZ, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed through sobriety tests, observations and blood tests that Jenner wasn’t under the influence. In fact, his blood alcohol level was 0.00.
There had been rumors that hormonal drugs (FYI: Bruce Jenner is transforming himself into a woman) had played a major role in the accident. But a source from the department told TMZ that he was ‘balanced out’ throughout.
In other developments, the driver of the white Lexus who died in the accident has been identified as 69-year old Kim Howe. Police have also obtained a video of the crash … which among other things, confirmed that Bruce was not being chased by the paparazzi as he earlier claimed.
In a statement released on Sunday, Bruce said, ‘My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible.’
