Former Brownstone singer Charmayne Maxwell died on Friday night after falling backwards on a broken glass, injuring her neck vessels.
Maxwell is believed to have fallen backwards while holding a wine glass in her Los Angeles home, with her head landing on the shattered glass. Some of the glass fragments pierced her neck, apparently damaging her carotid arteries.
For now, no one knows what caused the tragic fall.
According to TMZ, the 43-year old Rn B singer was found bleeding profusely by her husband Carsten ‘Soulshock’ Schack at around 9 pm and rushed to the hospital … but she’d lost a lot of blood and so died on the way.
Police suspect no foul play in her death, but still interviewed members of her family. There is no history of domestic violence.
