Cops believe that Jerry Springer producer Jill Blackstone and her sister Wendy agreed to kill themselves, only for her to back out of the pact in the middle of its execution.
As ENTmania! previously reported, cops arrested Jill on murder charges after they suspected that she staged a scene to make it look as if her deaf and partially blind sister committed suicide of carbon monoxide poisoning. She was released after the District Attorney sent the case back for further investigation.
Now according to TMZ, cops believe that the sisters made a decision to commit suicide together … and that Jill lit and set up the BBQ in her closed garage in order to generate the deadly gas. As you will remember, Jill later called a friend, who 911 to report that the bodies of Wendy and their two dogs were lying in her garage. When paramedics arrived, they found the bodies and a severely intoxicated Jill, who was rushed to the hospital with severe carbon monoxide poisoning. She was released on Monday.
Cops believe Jill had a change of heart and backed out of killing herself at the last second.
If this theory proves to be true, it remains to be seen if Jill will be charged with murder.
