A woman in Racine, Wisconsin was this week arrested after dropping a load of feces and urine inside a cardboard box at Kmart while wearing a shirt with the inscription ‘Dropping a Load.’
According to the police report obtained by The Smoking Gun, Melissa Jacobson, who is a regular shopper at the Kmart store, walked towards the customer service desk, which was ‘approximately 50 feet’ away from the restroom. Instead of using the restroom, she walked over to a box containing security tags and squatted down, pants loosened. About a minute later, she reached out for paper towels beneath the counter … then she stood up, completed her shopping, and left.
‘LPO Volkes reported that he entered aisle #1 to report for his shift and detected a “funky” odor, so he looked down and observed a box containing…both urination and defecation,’ says the report. ‘… Upon arrival, Officer Lewis reports that he observed Jacobson’s shirt, which had a picture of a dump truck on it, as well as the phrase, “Dropping a Load.”‘
According to an employee, Jacobson, who was captured on security cams, was not drunk or under any influence, nor did she show any signs of distress that requires using the bathroom. Besides, the report says she must have known where the toilets were located since she was a regular.
Cops tracked down Jacobson at her residence, where she was arrested. Cops say she denied defecating in the box despite the overwhelming evidence, asking ‘why someone would do that.’ She is now out on bail.
