Nelly was arrested on Saturday morning in Tennessee after weed, meth and guns were found in his tour bus, it has been reported.
According to police, the 40-year old rapper’s tour bus was stopped by a cop for not having the required Department of Transportation sticker … but then the officer perceived a strong odor of weed, and decided to conduct a search.
That search, according to cops, revealed a baggie containing what tested positive for meth, a small amount of weed, 100 Ziplock bags commonly used to sell drugs, and several handguns which include a gold-plated 50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber [Taurus] pistol, and a 500 magnum Smith and Wesson.
Nelly was hauledoff to jail and booked for felony meth possession, misdemeanor weed and drug paraphernalia possession. He has since posted a $10,000 bail.
According to TMZ, Nelly’s lawyer is denying that the meth found in the tour bus was his client’s, claiming that many people were in the bus when it was searched.
