Donald Sterling’s ‘personal assistant’ V. Stiviano has been ordered to return all the expensive gifts she received from him to his estranged wife Shelly Sterling, which is valued at a total of $2.6 million.
In a court ruling on Tuesday, the judge ordered Stiviano to return a $1.8 million duplex house, as well as $800,000 invested in buying her cars and lavish holidays.
The court battle began more than a month ago after Shelly sued, accusing Stiviano of seducing and manipulating her husband into spending money from their joint business empire on her. Stiviano, on her part, argued that Donald and Shelly were legally separated when he gave her the gifts.
But the judge dismissed Stiviano’s argument, saying that Donald had no legal right to use their business money to fund her lifestyle.
As you will remember, V.Stiviano attained infamy last year after she allegedly leaked an audio of Sterling making racist remarks, causing him to sell his basketball team L.A Clippers. He was also banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million.
