Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon have apologized for the way they conducted themselves during their nasty divorce battle, which they settled earlier this week.
As you will remember, Anderson filed to divorce Salomon for the third time in February, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce quickly turned nasty after Salomon filed for annulment, claiming that Anderson defrauded him. In response, Anderson obtained a restraining order and very publicly blasted Salomon for being horrible in bed, accusing him of grabbing her neck and choking her during sex. Then Salomon responded by releasing sexually-charged texts Pamela sent to him, and accusing her of aborting the kids of her previous husbands.
Now the whole thing has settled, with Pamela gaining a $1 million paycheck from Salomon. And they now think it is the right time to apologize to everyone who was made to endure their nasty, highly shameful divorce drama.
‘Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused,’ the former couple said in a joint statement on Wednesday. ‘We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well.’
