Bruce Jenner has been sued for the wrongful death of Kim Howe, the woman who died in the February car crash he caused.
According to TMZ, the adult stepchildren claim in their lawsuit that Bruce was ‘careless and negligent’ when he hit Howe’s Lexus with his Escalade while on the Pacific Coast Highway, causing it to go off its lane onto oncoming traffic and get hit by a Hummer.
As ENTmania! reported, cops have placed the blame squarely on Jenner, saying that he was following too close and wasn’t alert behind the wheel, although he was not drunk or under the influence of drugs. However, cops say he was NOT speeding … but the stepchildren claim he was speeding at the time of the crash.
Another problem with the lawsuit is the fact that even if they win, the stepchildren will find it hard to claim damages. This is because they were never close to Howe, and were not even included in her will. All the same, it has not prevented them from claiming loss of affection.
The case is still under investigation.
