Ray Rice is now a total free man, because the charges he got for violently knocking out his then-fiancee and now wife Janay Rice has been wiped off his record.
The former Baltimore Ravens star’s case was dismissed by Judge Michael A. Donio on Thursday morning after the Atlantic County D.A sent a dismissal letter to the court certifying that he has completed his 12-month pretrial intervention program and paid the $125 fine.
As ENTmania reported, Rice made major headlines last year after surveillance footage emerged showing him punching Janay in a hotel elevator and then dragging her unconscious body out, without showing any signs of regrets. This led to his ultimate firing from the Ravens and the NFL, but the latter reinstated him after a court ruled that the football body abused its power by punishing him again. The NFL had earlier suspended Rice for 2 games because of the incident.
Rice is not currently playing for any team.
