Benjy, the Irish bull who suddenly became a celebrity last year for supposedly being gay, has just been found to like dating cows.
The bull grabbed headlines last year when it was found to show little interest in mating with cows, leading his keepers to conclude that he was a no good breeder and had to be slaughtered. But a campaign launched by a gay magazine and animal rights group – which was backed by the late Simpsons co-creator Sam Simon – prevented that from happening … and instead, it was taken to Hillside Animal Sanctuary in Norfolk, England.
Ever since moving into his new home, Benjy’s sexual attraction to cows has resurfaced, apparently shattering the pro-LGBT insistence that animals can be gay. He even had to be castrated because his new owners feared ‘he would impregnate all our female cows,’ said John Watson, a farmer at the sanctuary. But even that did not stop him from trying.
‘Judging by what he was trying to do the other day with one of the cows… he isn’t gay,’ said sanctuary founder Wendy Valentine.
She added, ‘Benjy came to us because somebody thought he was gay. We don’t know whether or not he is but the fact that someone thought he was has certainly saved his life and stopped him being sent to the slaughterhouse.’
News of Benjy’s non-gayness has not been well-received by pro-gay media outlets, as they are now reporting that he ‘is bisexual.’
