Justin Bieber has pleaded guilty to a criminal assault case against him in Ontario, Canada.
Last year, the singer had crashed his ATV vehicle into a minivan of a photographer, who was at that time taking pics of him and then-girlfriend Selena Gomez. A physical confrontation between Bieber and the photog followed, leading to Bieber’s arrest for assault.
On Thursday, Bieber via Skype pleaded guilty to simple assault and careless driving. He was then ordered to pay a $715 fine, as agreed in the plea deal he struck with prosecutors.
‘The lesson in all of this is to think before you act in the future,’ the judge told Bieber.
Now while the singer has successfully closed this one, he is still wanted in Argentina for another paparazzi-related incident.
