The felony charges against Diddy stemming from his arrest for putting his hands on a university football coach has been rejected by prosecutors.
As ENTmania! reported, the rap mogul was arrested last month after getting into a physical confrontation with his son’s UCLA football strength and conditioning coach. He was subsequently charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery and making terrorist threats … all felonies.
Now TMZ reports that the Los Angeles County District Attorney quickly dismissed the felony charges for having a weak base, but referred the case to the L.A City Attorney for review. The City Attorney can decide to charge Diddy with a misdemeanor if they find the grounds for it.
The decision could be arrived at as early as next week.
