Serena Williams has won the Wimbledon title.
The 33-year old on Saturday easily beat her rival, 21-year-old Garbine Muguruza, in two straight sets 6-4, 6-4 to clinch her sixth Wimbledon title and her 21st, 4th consecutive Grand Slam. The win also makes her the first woman in 12 years to hold all 4 Grand Slam titles.
With this victory, Williams is now second only to Germany’s Steffi Graf when it comes to the female tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles. Graf, considered the greatest female tennis player of all time, won 22 Grand Slams before retiring in 1999.
