The Islamic State is now recruiting domestic fowls as suicide bombers, it has been reported.
In a recent propaganda video, the Islamic terror group boasts that they now deploy ‘suicide chickens’ to destroy the enemy’s camps … and unverified photos of the bomb-carrying birds (like the one above) are currently circulating online.
According to reports, ISIS uses this bombing technique in the city of of Fallujah to infiltrate enemy camps because to them, fowls are not easy to detect. The birds are strapped with explosive belts and encouraged to wander into the camps and once in optimum range, the terrorists detonate the bombs with remote controllers.
Experts believe that ISIS’ resort to ‘chicken bombers’ is an indication that they are running low on ammunition and fighters after over a year of fighting and US-led forces recently bombing their supply route.
‘Isis will use whatever means they can to bring death and destruction,’ a British man reportedly fighting for Kurdish troops told Daily Star. ‘Using animals has little military value – it is just another example of how their twisted minds enjoy dreaming up bizarre ways to kill people.’
