Khloe Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner are about to be sued by some Marina Del Rey, California residents for setting off fireworks so massive that it put thousands on fight-or-flight mode.
Last Tuesday night, Khloe organized a massive yacht party off the Marina Del Rey coast for her boyfriend, NBA star James Harden, who was celebrating his 26th birthday. When the clock hit midnight, Khloe and her guests numbering about 200 set off loud fireworks for 15 minutes … waking up and scaring thousands of residents, some of whom thought that their town was under attack.
City officials and police are still debating on who gave the Kardashians the permission to set off massive fireworks on a non-holiday … but some residents are not waiting for them. TMZ reports that 12 of them, including several celebs, have come together to sue Khloe and Kris for emotional distress.
The suit will be filed in a small claims court, which does not allow lawyers and permits only a maximum of $7,500 in claims. What this means is that both Khloe and Kris will have to appear in court in person.
The residents say that their main aim of the suit is not the money, but to meet the Kardashians face to face and confront them for being so incredibly rude and selfish by their actions.
