The man recently arrested for allegedly stalking Charlize Theron will not be prosecuted because of insufficient evidence, it has been reported.
On Sunday, Stanislav Sonseadec was arrested outside Theron’s home after bringing the actress flowers and allegedly refusing to leave. According to multiple reports, Sonseadec was told multiple times by Theron’s assistant to leave the flowers at the gate and leave but he did not, resulting in cops getting called and his being jailed on stalking charges.
But on Tuesday, the District Attorney refused to prosecute Sonseadec, saying that there was insufficient evidence to prove that he indeed wanted to harm Theron. The D.A also noted that Sonseadec is Russian and so may have not understood the assistant when he was told to leave.
Theron did not comment on the case.
